The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max – Apple's next batch of iPhones is now official. Around the word, and in India. The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone 11 Pro Max may not look like huge upgrades over last year’s iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max but there’s a very big change in how Apple goes about selling its next-generation iPhones in India this year. We’re talking about the pricing. While the iPhone is still an expensive proposition to get in India, the iPhone lineup is a little more aggressively priced than last year’s iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. This is especially true for the iPhone 11.

iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max India availability 

The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available for buying in India from September 27. The iPhone 11 will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB configurations in purple, green, yellow, black, white and PRODUCT(RED) colors. The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB configurations in midnight green, space gray, silver and gold colors.

The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max pack new hardware - Apple’s new A13 Bionic chip to be precise. All the three new models have the same screen size and resolution as the outgoing models – with the iPhone 11 Pro (5.8-inch) and iPhone 11 Pro Max (6.5-inch) retaining OLED panels (although Apple is calling them Super Retina XDR), while the iPhone 11 (6.1-inch) packs LCD. While the iPhone 11 has an all-glass body the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are carved out of stainless steel and glass with smooth matte finish. All the three new iPhones are IP68-certified and come with new haptics sans Apple’s 3D Touch.  

While the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max came with dual rear cameras, their successors come with three 12MP rear cameras – wide, ultra-wide and telephoto. The iPhone 11 meanwhile comes with dual 12 rear cameras – wide and ultra-wide. There’s also a new night-mode now akin to Google’s Night Sight. The front-facing camera in all the three new iPhones is also getting an update with 4K video recording and support slow-motion video recording at 120fps – Apple is calling these videos ‘slofies’.
